Busy times arrival Dubai DXB
 

Hello

I asked before about 12 months, but just wanted an update.

Can any DXB ATC guys advise me when in UTC times, am I likely to expect arrival delays meaning taking up the hold and on average, how much of a delay expected. What UTC times are the busiest.

Not sure why you what to know but here goes;
0000-0330 busy with odd bouts of holding very rare more than 10min
0700-1000 again busy with some holding, again rarely more than 10min
1400-1800 busy but rare to hold
1800-2200 busiest part of day with holding but rarely more than 15min
All depends on weather, runway closures etc etc.

Wanted to know so as I either take flight plan fuel or a little extra

I went around the hold once at about 22:00 UTC
