Published Holding Times

G'Day All.
I've been handed a task in
My current non operational role to determine if and how other ANSPs publish holding times.
Here in Aus we either have published expected holding times in the EnRoute Supplement or by NOTAM.
Can the collective nous of Pprune advise where a crew would find this information for other busier parts of the world? Publications or Notam?

Regards,

In the UK, the holding fuel recommendation is published in ENR 1.9.9 regarding flow management for airports within the London TMA.

Live information on expected delays is passed generally on first contact with London Control.

ATC Used to issue an 'Expected Approach Time' (EAT) in case of comms failure if the delay in the hold was more than about 20 min; don't know if it's still done.

Many thanks to both respondents.

For Heathrow, crews can be informed by adjacent FIR's if the delay is over 5 minutes and the crew can sometimes be told to reduce speed to absorb some of that delay. London ACC will also instruct the aircraft to descend at 250kts when possible to absorb some more. Delays at any other UK airfield will be passed to inbound traffic by ATC as and when the message is passed along the line to slow them up.

EATS will be issued for Heathrow and Gatwick when the average delay is 20 minutes or above, and Onward Clearance Times should also be passed if holding occurs at an outer "enroute" hold.
