Letter from Prospect
 

Did you all receive your letter from Prospect this morning.

I particularly liked the following bit!

"Linda Moir, the new Human Resources Director added.............Given the media interest following the Air Traffic Controllers' rejection of the pay offer, it was important to lower the temperature and allow constructive discussion to proceed"

This comes from the same NATS management who put their "generous" pay offer on the table and said take it or leave it, there will be no further pay discussions! :mad:

Me thinks they might be a little rattled after the strikes last week.

All we need now is for Prospect to cave in and accept a further 0.2% on our behalf, so as to keep the powder dry for another day:cool:

Got my letter today. Liked the line "Individual members are urged not to talk directly to the media as upon opening my copy of the Portsmouth NEws I find a double page spread on Nerc and how wonderful it all is. Even has a quote from a NATS spokeman (Richard Wright (who he??)) saying how great communications are between Mis- Management and staff even though I an waiting response to a letter I wrote 4 Months ago.
