Airservices Oz vs Airways

I have downloaded the current payscales for ASA, is anyone on here able to post how Airways NZ compares? Does the pay increase every year like it does with ASA or is is static and you get promotional pay when you end up in radar?

Airways is more complicated than Airservices.

At Airways you start with a base salary which increases every year for about 20 odd years. Then you ad a loading based on the area you work in.

Band A - Regional tower
Band B - International tower and Area Radar
Band C - Oceanic
Band D - Terminal Radar

Then you ad a roster specific salary component based on how many hours your roster requires outside Monday to Friday 9-5.

Sweet thanks for that mate. Would you say the overall package is similar to ASA?

Probably a little extra from ASA especially if you're in a regional tower. If you're in terminal radar or enroute there's probably not much in it. The climb up the pay scale happens quicker at ASA too. The pay jumps are about 10K per year for about 10years compared to airways 3k per year for about 20 years

Both pay just under double time for additional duty.
ASA will give 12.5% super compared to airways 11% (you put in 5.5% and they put in 11%)
