FEAST test ?!

Hello everybody,
I'm new on this forum, I'm from Bosnia & Herzegovina.
I applied for competition for scolarship and schooling candidates for air traffic controller.
Soon, I should have FEAST test, and I know only that this test contains several phases. I don't know how to prepare for that.
Also, I found on android app store application named FEAST Test Training, is that useful, because app is around 40$?

So can someone tell me what I need to do on that test, how test is running.
If you can tell me little bit more, more details about that I would have been very grateful.

I must say that I really want to become an ATC, it's amazing, and I know that I have really good skills for that.

I'm sorry if this thread is not on the right place.
Thank you all.

Regards :)

Previous thread might be useful for you.

If you know you have really good skills for the job, then why did you need to prepare for a test that is designed to test if you have the right skills for the job?

Because there are many candidates for scolarship, and it will be very difficult to 'get in'.
So I want to prepare myself best I can.
If you or someone else can tell me more about FEAST, I would be very grateful.

I'm just asking because my personal opinion is that preparation as such for feast isn't actually that useful. It is designed to test your natrual abilities, by preparing or trying the tasks beforehand you risk breaking the system. For example it's been suggested (although I've never seen this confirmed) that one of the paremeters it looks at is how you develop during the test. So if you've already done the task for 6 hours, you will have very little progression. This in turn may give the impression that you're not learning, and therefore lead to your failure on the test.

All the above is opinion and speculation. I have had many a discussions with people about preparing for feast. Some say it really helped them, for me personally I don't see why.

What I myself did before sitting the test was that I played a lot of tetris, and I used a website called lumosity. Did either of that help? I doubt it. The tetris was quite good fun though, and the website also had some fun games on it. But I doubt either of them did much for my result on feast.

My standard advice for all of these tests is sleep well the night before, have a good breakfast, and make sure you do your best. If you do that, and have what they're looking for, you should get in. Worked for me anyway

Tests

Preparing for a test, whatever test it may be, even though it may not be the exact test (FEAST) probably helps with confidence and maybe slightly increases your chances...

Can't blame someone for trying to do everything he can even if it's not for you, personally. ;)

I agree about a good nights sleep.

Here you can see lot of arguments to prepare or not:

Personally I think it's not bad to try and prepare yourself.
