ATC Full route clearance, what do you FLY?!

If you were assigned the following route and lost communications at TNP, would you A.) proceed to SBONO and continue
with lost comms B.) proceed to CLOWD then SBONO or C.) Too busy declaring emergency for failed GPS.

BOACH5 TNP SBONO1

The argument here I am having with a non instrument rated student is that TNP.SBONO1 does not exist therefore he argues the actual clearance reads BOACH5.TNP.SBONO.SBONO1 and one would not be expected to proceed to CLOWD even if filed BOACH5.TNP.SBONO1.

Thoughts?

At TNP, you're on the SBPNO arrival into PSP, so fly the STAR thru CLOWD.
