Overflight areas vs. waypoints

Hi All,
was wondering: is there any correspondence whatsoever between waypoints and overflight areas, e.g. ED, LF, EG, LI etc...? Maybe a database that does the job? Thanks anyway.

I think they use emails or text messaging
