Guardian article 7 May(NATS)

According to The Guardian newspaper dated 7 May, our CEO Richard Everitt was " dissatisfied with the sevice's(NATS) operational performance on September 11th." He also stated that NATS emergency procedures needed to be improved and that he would be setting up a working group to improve those procedures.
Interesting, I thought everyone was of the opinion that we all bust a gut to provide the best service in very difficult circumstances on that dreadful day. Obviously I was wrong, what does Mr. Everitt know that we don't?

And he's been an ATCO for how long?

Other interesting things are said as well, which pose questions such as 'Why aren't NATS going to have a contingency fund for exceptional circumstances?'

Does this mean that he wishes to withdraw his comments made in the wake of September 11th?

Or did he do it unknowingly?:D :D :D :D ;)

Apparently the CEO is horrified that he had been misquoted in the Guardian. An e-mail was circulated around LTCC today(Thursday) stating that the comments related to how NATS would be able to react to a "catastrophic" event, such as 11/9, on its' own facilities.
I suggest that Mr. Everitt writes to the Guardian to put the record straight.
