NATS Air Traffic Control.
 

I visited NATS Air Traffic Control at Swanwick a couple of weeks ago, it was fantastic. We had good old look at the new viewing gallery, which has been put up - this gives you a fantastic view of the control room, looked very busy down there!
After that we had a look at a radar simulator that is used to train up the newbies, and out 'tour guide' just told us a bit aboput how things worked etc.

If you ever get a chance to go and have a look round there (I think the chances are quite slim as we have been waiting for a chance for a while.) just go and do it! Im sure you'll enjoy it.

If there are any NATS controllers here, you do a great job!

I mean, All Air traffic controllers do a fantastic job, the ones ive ever had anything to do with anyway....

But... I went to NATS, so was saying what a good job THEY do, logic ?

That's jolly witty, blueskythinking - but why would I have any relevant chips?
Merely observing, you see, that a compliment was paid to "any NATS controllers", apparently based on seeing Swanwick from the viewing gallery! :rolleyes:

ref the op's compliment. Don't think he/she actually said it was just based on their visit however you can also listen to r/t and watch live radar feeds in viewing gallery so that will have given them some idea possibly. A compliment to nats controllers isn't in some way derogatory of others I suggest.
Have faith in your ability old chap. I am sure you are equally as good as the average swanwick controller. ;)
