ATC authorities

Hello,
After deciding not to pursue a career as a pilot due to cost, I am tempted to try as an ATCO. I have been looking at NATS but was wondering what other companies/authorities deal with ATC in Europe/ North America (I know about NAV Canada).
Thanks for the help!

Eurocontrol plus various government agencies in Europe, FAA in the USA. If you try to do ATC at one of the private colleges it will cost you as much as a pilot's licence. The only sensible way in the UK is via NATS.
