Quick question. GOOD JOB LHR ATC
 

I was tuned in to LHR (19.72) when a private jet called up requesting that he should land at LHR stating that they should be going to STN but they had changed their arrangement. On more the one occasion ATC said this is not possible however, the captain kept sayin he wanted LHR. Until the boss at LHR said you are not cleared turn left 060.....

My question is do you guys get much of this going on...

PS i would just like to say to the LHR controllers, you make great listening to. Its always fun listening to the "characters". Its quite good when you turn on your scanner and you here a certain voice and you can tell if it will be a fun time....

First thing, Mr Dean, you have broken the law on two counts - 1) listening to the airband and 2) publishing what you have heard. Listen for a knock on your door soon!!!

There's no "boss" at Heathrow just normal controllers doing their work.

if this happened, would it not have been talking to TC rather than LL tower?

It was talking to LL TC according to what he said (119.725)

the frequency mentioned is a TC frequency.

HD - the 'boss' could feasibly be BAA...
