ATC APS Sim

Hello All!

I'm currently undergoing APS Training and would like to find a Generic Vectoring tool for help with my studies.

Does anyone know of any available for download? Preferably a sim that I could change Aircraft Performance characteristics etc etc - or even better-design my own airspace!

I have downloaded numerous ones but can't find any that is helpful! You cant learn good vectoring techniques with Chicago O Hare Approach on a busy Saturday morning!!

Any help would be much appreciated!

This is about as close as you can get to the real thing on a PC....

London Control Home

London Control is superb!

No idea if its accurate or not but it sure seems it and it will get your pulse going when you've got aircraft all over the place and you're desperately trying to keep it together! I mainly do Gatwick Approach which can be hairy, especially if you decide to change the active runway mid session.

Think the website has a free demo for download, but be careful playing in the evening..... you may find that suddenly, it's daylight again, you haven't slept and when you try, you're picturing blips moving around behind your eyes and thinking of ways to keep them apart....

Superb value for money.

Try ATC Simulator 2. I do not know if you can change A/C performance but since you appear to be interested in the US then it would be a better fit than London Control.

You should try this Fly Online with VATSIM.net - Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network providing simulated air traffic control and online flying :ok:

another thought, connect to Flightsim X online and select the "controller" option, wait for people to join. You might need a teamspeak server, or similar to set up a comms as the microsoft VOIP is rubbish. :8
