sorry if im askin an obvious question but would like feedback from different countries re ...... do u give priority for take off or landing for long haul or ultra long haul flights. also where is this defined . unable to locate in doc 4444 etc

I used to work at EKCH, no individual treatment or priority for take-off and landings for long-haul, but once airborne they should be given, if traffic permits, direct routing and continuous climb, ref. the Local ATS Instructions. Here at OMAA we don't have any regulations locally to give preference/priority to long-haul flights. Just get rid off them asap and once they return get them safe back down asap. If you call "getting low on fuel" (they all are :rolleyes:) I might consider you, but to ensure priority you better call a "fuel emergency".

And remember in the UK there is no such thing as a "fuel emergency", so you'd better call a mayday!
