what about current students? or old students?

SilentHandover 6th Sep 2007 19:08

All present students bar former ATSA's etc will get the weekly payment along with the £1000 when you leave, it's paid for up to 18 months whilst at the college, including whilst on holiday. There will be no back dating of the payment for present students. It's all tax free too.

Silent Handover is 100% but there is one small caveat.
Anyone on medical recourses or holding awaiting a recourse is assessed on an individual basis as to whether they receive the extra money.
I am most happy to be wrong about the speed of the pay rise and the amount - hooray!!

Damn...I just missed out on the old trainee wage, and now it seems I just missed out on the "newer" wage as well :(

Hi all, I should be starting the January course as well, however I have not actually had anything from NATS confirming a date or anything?!

Good news on the pay as well :)

Vicki280_1 7th Sep 2007 17:28

The extra money is for all students at the college except anyone who worked for NATS before and is better off than the rest of the students already.

Think it is going to help with the costs of accomodation.

:)

I too am due to start in January. It originally was September but it got put back. (I was told this was likely to happen at my third interview.) Havent heard anything since my medical a few weeks ago, but I reckon they will be getting the September starts sorted out first so not too concerned. Look forward to meeting y'all! :)
