And now for some research ;)
What are the extras ATCOs get from their employer?
Pension scheme? Medical insurance? Additional holidays paid by the company?
That's what we get down here, how about you?

In Belgium:

A good pension scheme, medical insurance, and last but not least: a number of free train tickets (1st class)...

in gib we get a pension, a free copy of the nats company mag every month, and the chance to speak to the vast number of people from head office that appear every now and then for what appears to be a city break in the sun!!!

bring back serco,at least they gave us a free diary and paid our bar bill at the xmas party

The gist of it is that controllers still do very well in the pay/benefit area ... just not as well as before the latest "contract."

A couple of the cleaners at Latcc used to offer those - allegedly. (and that was many years ago)

We get free abuse and extra duties whenever we don't want them.

Final salary pension scheme, competetive car purchase scheme, telephone allowance, Management who kill several forests per week with increasingly bizzare and ever more complicated TOIs/SIs, a three wheeled roster which would challenge the mind of the highest IQ in the land and security procedures based on the inner workings of the KGB.

Overall, it's not a bad place to work....
