Trainee application
 

Hi there people,

Just after a bit of advice.

Im currently filling in the online application form for the NATS trainee controller. Now, I have 9 GCSE's but not 5 at grade C or above but I do have a HND in Aeronautical Engineering.

Could anyone please tell me where I would stand with this?

Any comments of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ring HR, their number is on the application site. A very useful bunch, just explain the situation and they will advise you accordingly.

Sure thing, Ill do exactly that. But, in your opinion, do you think they would just about be enough to scrape through? Or can you really not comment on that?

rob152, you are clearly enthusiastic. But you have been advised to call HR, who can give you the answer you need. Why ask others who may give you inaccurate info?

I would imagine that what you have wouldn't be enough as they specify 5 at C or above AND a period of post GCSE study. The nature of your post GCSE study may help you, but the only people who can tell you for definate are HR. If it's not enough, I'm sure they'll let you know what you need to do if you ask nicely. :)
