Australian/NZ ATC applying for Oman
 

For anyone who's received an Offer of Employment as an ATC in Oman, there is a Consulate for Oman in Melbourne (as of four months ago) that can endorse your Education Certificates.

Some things to remember...

Step 1: Take your original documents to a Public Notary, NOT a Justice of the Peace, otherwise Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT) will not provide the additional endorsements required by the Consulate for Oman. The Public Notary will copy the originals and place a wax seal on them, for a fee (mine was $66 for 3 documents). DFAT have a list of Public Notaries if you can't find one.

Step 2: Take the endorsed copies to DFAT. DFAT will endorse them only after the Public Notary (effectively saying that the Public Notary is legitimate).

Step 3: Send the copies with both endorsements to the Consulate, who will put their own endorsement on them, but only after the DFAT endorsements.
