German Class E Airspace
 

Hi there,
Any helpful German controllers able to shed any light on the practicalities of the Class E airspace structre in Germany and its practical application to commercial jet traffic?

Very often our chart data states (somewhat loosely) 'uncontrolled traffic operating below FL100' but the actual clearance received from ATC will stay within Class C structure airspace...

I'd love to know when this note applies, how it is applied and what to expect,
