Manchester runways

I have been through Manchester Airport a couple of times recently and have noticed that only runway 24R/06L seems to be in use.

Is there any specific reason for the single runway operation, or is this just a temporary issue?

I dont know if you are aware of this, please disregard if you are. Manchester has SRO between 1200-1500 local time due to an agreement with the locals, around these times the operate dual runways....maybe there is another reason at present to permanently use single rwy, but I am not aware of any.

There should not be any reason why they are only using one runway no. You probably went through between 1200-1500 as explained.

Or between 2200 and 0600!
