Desperately sad news from Kinloss. Phil did a lot of my training at Benson a few years back. A terrible waste of a life.

Condolences to the family - Phil and I went through Swinderby at the same time and were on the same Assts course at Shawbury. Bumped into him again at Lyneham a few years later just before he went on the JATCC course.

I knew Phil when he was a Sgt and was posted to Benson.

Having spent and couple of years with Phil at Benson and this last summer with him in a rather warm environment I am both extremely surprised and deeply saddened at this awful news. I hope one day we will know and understand what caused Phil to take such drastic measures. Until then I will remain dumbfounded and numb.

Rest in Peace Phil.
