NERC problems
Design faults at £650m air centre are 'threat to safety' IndependentSunday January 27. .Air centre 'shambles' to hold up flights . .Joanna Walters, transport editor Independent and . .Observer Sunday January 27, 2002
It seems possible that the Health & Safety Executive have informed NATS that there are breaches of regulations relating to the equipment we have to use at NERC. It seems that our union know about this. Does this mean that. .we licence holders are essentially breaking the law by using this equipment?. .Mr.Findlay didn’t mention any of this in his many appearances on the BBC over the last couple of days. Shouldn’t we be having some legal advice from Prospect. Exactly who do they represent? |

Could be anything. HS&E usually cover everything. .from the wrong number of castors on your chair upwards. |
Well I'm delighted to hear that both. .the Independent and Observer feel that. .the number of castors on our chairs. .is a possible threat to the safety. .of aircraft. . .Would somebody please tell us exactly. .what the Health & Safety Executive. .did say? It seems the papers know and. .we don't.
