Newcastle ATC seem to aviod routing any aircraft over Sunderland.... does anyone know why?

Hello again, the reason, airway P18 and the re-alignment of UL602.

No, the real reason is that they'd suddenly go missing as they overflew Sunderland,and be found in the local park a week later, stripped of all metal parts and parked on bricks.
