fill in time

what happens when tere is an overnight shift on when the airport curfew is on. what do you guys do then. how do you fill in time until the curfew is lifted. please let us know. and this is an innocent question and is not a loaded question to anyone.

Most of the time there is still the occaisional overflight through the TMA, maybe climbing out from a nearby field, and of course although there may be a curfew, there are often exemptions, for instance military flights, government flights and ambulance flights.

Other than that, TV, internet and if you're lucky sometimes a quick "Z" in turns with colleagues.

Oh. and lots of coffee!

and these days there's the weather to do every half hour, the phone calls from people who think we've nothing to do and, of course, brushing up on the latest changest to procedures and stuff...

AyrTC-that sounds like Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter Sunday.......

In Swanwick it all varies from watch to watch, but the occasional board game, DVD or pack of cards have been sighted - and most definately trashy magazines, tabloid papers combined with fatty foods just to make you feel sick by the time you get home ready for bed!!!!!! :} :} :} :}
