Same tower now but re-equipped once or twice since. Also, the radar room is no longer a boxed-off corner of the VCR ! Thanks to Mick Kane for his permission to post these pictures.

Incidentally, LBA ATC have occupied the very same Tower since 1967 (except for Thursday through Monday at the moment), albeit with a few equipment and personnel changes along the way. It will be interesting to see if it can, or will, be retained in the event the existing terminal buildings (within which the Tower is incorporated) are demolished.
