G'day ATCOs,
Last week we were very pleasantly impressed by the pro-activeness of 2 German ATCOs on 2 occasions (Same day). The first was going into EDDM and there was a bunch of cells around DKB. He offered a heading that would work perfectly for us and probably for him too. We accepted his offer.
On return to the UK, we were capped at FL380 and the Controller suggested a heading to avoid the wake turbulence from an Emirates A380 coming the other way. Flying a Challenger 350 makes us a bit twitchy around A380s for obvious reasons.
