Oz ATC's looking elsewhere...!!
Anyone from anywhere got info on ATC jobs available.....
The OZ ATC provider is getting stupider and stupider.
Many might Jump if the right jobs came up!!!!
Experience:
- GAAP (General Aviation Tower)
- Procedural App/Twr
- Radar and Procedural En-route
- OJTI (training qualification)
- Team Leader (qualified although not acting)
- Zero Breakdowns..(Touch Wood!!)
- Associated tickets (Met observer etc)
- Diploma of Aviation - Air traffic services
- Lotsa years left to go (I hope.. )

Hi there, you did say anywhere?
There are plenty of positions open at FAJS ATCC. The Area guys are leaving for the UAE in droves. The tower and APP are not too far behind.

The pay isn't brilliant compared to the UAE, thats why the guys are leaving. The exchange rate of the SA Rand to the dollar is the problem. There are serious negotiations to try to keep the senior radar controllers. Who knows? Maybe they will get it right.
Yes they do take international controllers. I know of an Australian, Swiss, Sweeds, Canadian and Argentinian. They have all left in recent years.

Follow it up, you never know. I suggest you take a good look first.
