Amplivox Jetlite issued 1/11/72 on my cadetship. Stores number 10A CA 7258....still got the fibre box in the garage, will of course hand it in when I retire together with moth-eaten Duffle Coat remains, Board of Trade shovel, and Sea Boots stockings pairs one and spectacles anti-glare stores number ZX 010 010.

Never worked tower but for Enroute, arrivals and approach these are by far the business in my opinion....

Wouldn't be OK in major units in the UK as two earpieces are needed. For R/T, both earpieces are used but when a phone call is made one earpiece is switched to phone.

Just bought an ex-Manchester airport Jetlite. Broadly similar in appearance to the Airlite 100. It's a bit too light and loose which makes it fall off my head quite easily but otherwise looks ok despite my previous remarks on this thread. I shall try to improve the fit before using it in our deicing trucks this winter.

Where having major troubles with our wireless plantronic headsets. Random failures and open mics. They were a cool idea but wont be around for long.
