FRANKFURT GROUND 121.800 MHz

Hello,

At Frankfurt Rhein/Main, is FRANKFURT GROUND ever used on 121.800 MHz because I've never heard it active? All I've heard is FRANKFURT APRON on 121.750 MHz and 121.950 MHz.

Answers are welcome in either German, English, Mandarin or Cantonese.

Vielen Dank, thank you, 谢谢, 唔該.

It could be a standby frequency in the event of problems with the other(s).

Yes it is.
I have heard it several times during the winter when they had easterly configuration.

Hi CPA 288,

since you were not really getting a satisfactory reply to your question here in PPRuNe I copied your question to the more widely used forum for German ATC (FRANKFURT GROUND 121.800 MHz

This is the answer which was posted in return there:

Hi Cathay288

121.75
