ATIS broadcast

I was wondering if any pilots could enlighten me on differences between ATIS broadcast in various countries. What differences are there between the message formats for example between the USA and UK. I know there will be obvious changes like the units most likely but format changes would be nice to know as well. Thanks

In the USA there's no CAVOK crap like most countries have. The metars in the USA report exactly what weather conditions are being experienced at the airport and vicinity and the remarks section at the end of the metar is really good and detailed like reporting virga, peak winds, lightning, the list goes on. Here's a link to the Federal Met Handbook FMH-1
