Where is the best place to work?
With all the international input in this forum was wondering where is considered the best place to work.Taking the following into account:
1.Reasonable climate
2.Reasonable salary
3.Reasonable management(know this one is tricky
)
4.Reasonable lifestyle
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I gave my opinion in thread "TOP 5", but it was dreams rather then reality.
if I take your rules into consideration I may bet that I know what is the best place in The World.
It is Belgrade, Serbia, Either ACC or APP LYBE,
1. Climate - good, you have everything, winter, spring,hot summer and autumn,
2.When compare with average salary at given location, more than excellent. 10 times more than average. Salary is quiet good even for many EU countries.
3. Management- excellent one- they don't know anything about ATC!
4. Lifestyle is probably the best part of this option. You may go to ski or to swim/sailing with public transportation.
Pubs are working 24 hours, night life is part of culture, smoking is allowed everywhere , meat and alcohol are cheap ,quality and affordable.
sometimes you may expect that NATO drops CBU all over the city but it is exception not rule. .
Anyway I will opt for BEG, even I have never worked there and had not wish to do it .

Define "reasonable".
Climate can be crap.Total crap. Can also be great. Averages out to be something between the two. (think gaseous.)
Been to many places where the climate is heaps better. The only place I would rather live than right here is Queensland, Australia. And the employment prospects don't sound so inviting.
Salary. Nah. In real terms, been falling since the late eighties. No sign of levelling off. In my neck of the woods, the government considers you to be in the top salary bracket about 30-40K short of what you need to actually purchase a house and pay it off without mortgaging your grandchildren.In that top bracket, the tax rate is 39%. Still, at my age, with a slight head start, I'm doing OK. Not about to buy the new lounge suite, but, hey, who needs it?
For a family man or woman, starting off,(or even 1/3 way there) with 2+ kids needing education etc, fairly careful budgeting would be required, methinks.
We are being taxed as though we live in a socialist country, but without many of the free healthcare/education/other "perks" normally provided by such a society.
Management. Seen worse.(Really.) I've not worked many other places/jobs.(2) Some of the stories I hear and read about other places have fair put me right off, I can tell you.
That's only a small part of the reason I'm still here, though.
There are levels of good or even very good, let down at the usual waypoint by the not so good. Unfortunately, the "not so good" tends to be a filter on whatever good can happen, thus the leveler. This seems to be the case in all current "best business practice".
Lifestyle. Call me naive, but a place is what you make of it. Unless, because of politics, religion, or financial/personal constraint, you can't.
There are not so many of these constraints, here, currently. It's still a great place to live.

Thanks for the responses.Heathrow Director,smoking allowed everywhere is not a bad thing compared to this environment where the murder of a fellow human being is a daily event that receives no response,not even a blink of an eye!I am interested in a place where there is sunshine more than half of the year, been controlling for a long time now so an approach radar environment that is not 'over the top' would be pleasant.Salary ,really, a reasonable one no huge expectations as double income ATC/Pilot.Always good to get the opinion from the people who work at the 'coal face' so any more ideas please send them my way.

If you're looking for job satisfaction try anywhere in Europe. If you want that much sun, it'll have to be southern Europe. Money is good, place is safe, management is better than some......start learning a new language if you haven't already.
Did you see the add for ATCOs in Germany? Its not so sunny, but you have most of the rest.

As you may have noticed we're all a bit biased as we all choose what we know or somewhere nearby. Anyway me thinks 126,7 is spot on (I'm spanish, btw, therefore consistent with that ) as the salaries are really good (perhaps excepting Italy as cost of living vs salary isnt that great). The downside to it is that if you're not a national you have really slim chances of getting in (that goes for France, Spain, Portugal, Italy that I know of)
The DFS, or german ANSP, call for controllers would be something for you to consider even though chances are most people will be sent to Karlsruhe, nearby Frankfurt. Weather isn't that great but salary is around 5500€ after tax and you are not that far away from really nice spots like Southern France, Switzerland, North Italy, etc...
For you to get an idea you can live ok with 1500€ expenses a month anywhere in europe(renting an appartment and food if you're not extremely picky) and/or you can buy/build a nice house for around 400.000€. Which in turn would mean a 2000€ month mortgage plus expenses on the side. It changes locally but as guideline is reasonable.

ATC for an American?
What are some options for controllers from the US? - Where else can we find/or be able to work at? - I have a friend that just got hired by SERCO for Dubai - but I am curious as to other parts of the world that would let a non-national work for them.

I would like to add next countries to this list: Croatia, Serbia/Montenegro, Greece, Turkey.
It seems that south Europe HRDs work better job if HRD anywhere in the world works properly.
I know that it is little bit strange but all those countries are in better position than Norther Europe ANSPs even they faced more problems at the beginning of story. Because NE ANSPs could find easily people, at first language issue, than more traffic/ more opportunity for training ,more money for investment and so on. really this issue for me is strange.

If you work for NATS it has to be CTC, we have the best canteen, best Starbucks and only about 25% have any work to do. Least that's what I guess from reading other threads
