The only thing I find slightly irritating about Solent is that having left Old Sarum for example and approaching for a transit of the Southampton zone they never seem to be able to see me at 1500ft- they often however let me through anyway and in general are always helpful.

They are real pains in the backside. Bmth provide a superb service with no hassell. Fly right around the very edge of solent zone at 1950ft! That usually gets on thier nerves enough if they dont let you through! Its good to provide them with a taste of thier own medicine!!

However, if you are serious - as you've already identified yourself by calling for transit, at least they will know how to deal with you next time you seek their help ...
