Did you fall at FEAST or DART?

I failed at feast! I found the majority of it extremely easy compared to the military ATC aptitude tests, but it works so if you fail one section then you fail the whole test and one of the sections I've never really been good at and knew I'd failed as soon as I finished it.

The multiple choice was also very easy, I wouldn't fret just have a decent mental maths brain, read the booklet through and through and also knowledge of distances to other countries was beneficial!

Not sure really. I'm nearly 22 now and spent my 18-21 going away and seeing some of the world hoping I'd have the eureka moment. Still haven't hadn't it, so maybe uni!

Time will tell, good luck to all

Hi there, search for NATS Atco Jan 18 on Facebook and it should come up. I'm not allowed to post the URL on here as I'm a new member. 🙄

Hi all!

How long did you all need to wait until NATS sent an email to self register onto a stage 2 assessment day?

Been a week since I passed the online tests and still no email regarding assessment day...

It glitched out for me and I had to go on outlook and "search the server" whatever that means and it had been sent the day after I passed the tests, mess about on outlook on your phone and you might fid it otherwise I'd phone up

Depends on how many days they have available. For me, it took two days from passing stage 1.

Passed Stage 3 back in July, have my medical this Thursday. Gave them a ring today and heard that both the November and January course start dates are filled. The wait continues

Hello, I've recently passed my stage 3 at NATS which I'm over the moon about, looking likely to start the course early next year. I'm starting to look at places to stay but it's quite expensive........ Can anyone give me some info on good accommodation in the area that could be cheaper thanks. Also good luck to everyone at whichever stage thy are at.

Hi guys,

I am really keen to pursue a career in air traffic and am going to apply to NATS.

Can anyone advise what the initial tests are like? Ie Stage 1? Should I be doing anything to prepare myself before sitting them?

Thanks,

Do you know that Air Navigation Solutions at Gatwick and Edinburgh are also offering ab initio training schemes?

Just out of interest do ANS candidates have to sit the same FEAST and DART tests as NATS and Eurocontrol?

Stage 3

I had my stage 3 assessment on the 8th November last week. Has anybody else from that day had their results yet? Good luck to everyone.

For anyone who has not been successful recently and unable to reapply due to the 'one chance' policy, NATS have now rescinded this and you can reapply after 12 months of being unsuccessful. I'm sure this is welcome news for some here.
