Hi guys, I am going to Southampton on 15th oct.
Would be really nice to meet some of you.
I need to practice english and this is the reason why
I still did not get the Stage 2.

Another questions: 'Dress-code' means shirt, jacket and tie?
Do I have to shave my beard?

I hope to hear you soon.
See you.

Massimiliano

Hi maggamuff

when will you have your stage 2?

And about dress-code, is because someone went to the stage 2 wearing flip flops and swimshort

Of course he was invited to leave the installations

I have my stage 2 on 19th oct.

really?

I've missed 2 possibile dates of Stage 2, but I am quickly moving to Southampton
(14th I will be in London then I'll move as soon as I can in Southampton
and I am looking for at least 2-3 months flat's rental too).
I need to switch my 'inner-voice' in english.
I am more scared about this than what I will do on the test's day.

I hope I can have a chance to meet someone who can help me out and someone to hang out with too

The same happened to me but then it changed back again to the previous one. Keep clicking on the link. I managed to book my assessment date like that and I did it five days in advance. Good luck to you as well.

Stages of Application

Hi all,

First time posting here, but been reading many of these posts for the last couple of weeks. Hope you are all doing well. The successful few looking forward to Dec 7th?

Im right at the beginnig of the application process and, I wont lie, the end seems a long way off. I have my link for the initial online assessments, going to set aside time at the weekend and have a go at this. Any ideas on what to expect (I dont want to be caught by surprise)? Or do the example questions reflect what I will see?

Thanks

Moyes

Hi guys
I'm new on here but been keeping an eye on this thread for a while, especially since I too have been on the waiting list for a good while! So I thought it would be a good time to say hello!
I've got my stage 2 in December, and hoping it's second time lucky! Last took the tests in November 2012 and it looks like a lot has changed in that time. Reading everyone's posts I have found very helpful, particularly words from those who have completed the process and have been accepted onto courses. Looking forward to the challenge, the countdown is on!

Hi all,

Recently had my stage 2 and found out the next day I passed! (Was expecting a longer wait!) Just wondering how long people generally had to wait for the invite to stage 3 after passing 2?

Also anyone have any questions about stage 2 feel free to ask me while its fresh in my brain! Although I don't think there is much prep you could do for it, seems more just a case of either you're suited to the role or you're not.

Thanks

Hi everyone, still waiting for a stage 2 date.

I`ve seen quite a few cancellations coming in but they are always 1 or 2 days before the actual stage 2 assessment. Unfortunately this isn`t long enough for me to be able to get to the centre. Has anyone ever seen a cancellation with a notice period longer than 2 days?

Hello all, first time poster and would like to say I appreciate everyone's help on here, its been very useful indeed.

I'd like to ask for more if possible as I have just booked on a last minute Stage 2 on Friday (crikey!?!) and wondered if anyone had any pointers to help me through the day? My gut feeling is to agree with cpteffron in that there isn't much to practice (and I don't have time to learn anything from scratch!) but it'd be nice to be aware. Also I'm looking to get a hotel tomorrow night if any has any recommendations? Also what is the parking like at the CTC?

Might be of use to people to know that I got the chance by trying the link without waiting for a reminder email as I found it very difficult with my current job to keep an eye on my emails, especially in the mornings, which others may struggle with too, just thought I'd mention it

Again, any help is much appreciated, its going to be a hectic 48 hours but all good practice I hope?!

Is there any preparation you can do/have to do for it?
I keep getting emails saying "we got a spot in 2 days" so I'm just wondering whether a short-notice test will be any different. Do they send you any reading you have to do before the test?

Stage 3

Hi all, first time posting here but have been reading for a while. I just passed my Stage 2 tests on Monday (woohoo!!) and really want to start getting prepped for the Stage 3 interviews as soon as possible. Is there anyone here who might be able to send me a quick PM just outlining possible questions and an advice? Would be much appreciated.

I want to get in so much, but my interview technique is never the best

Thanks, guys!

Oh and if anyone wants to ask me questions about the Stage 2 FEAST and DART tests, just PM me
