Hi, I haven't seen much reference to it (but haven't actually read through all 46 pages of the thread) so just wondering:

In stage 1 (ATC test/diagramming/spacial awareness) are the ATC questions (from the 30-odd paged document provided) written answers or multiple choice questions?

Good luck to everyone currently revising/awaiting results!

Shay.

Thanks! Are there likely to be detailed questions on the individual characteristics of the planes?

Theres a premier inn about 5 minutes away from the complex. Does mean a taxi ride but I stayed there the first time i went for my stage 2. Book in advance costs £29 and about 6 pound in a taxi.

Train to fareham train station.

Travel from London Waterloo,

Check out National Rail Enquiries - Official source for UK train times and timetables and that will give you the eat journey to use and get tickets etc etc.

Think its a good couple if hours from Waterloo so make sure your iPod has plenty of charge! Lol

Hi guys,

I've just taken the initial online test after my application was accepted this morning. This was the multiple choice test where it'd display a long chain of numbers/letters and you'd have to pick out the identical match in the very short time allocated. There were 20 overall.

Has anyone done this, and if so, what mark was needed to pass? I think I screwed up on a few and consequently only got 15-17 right. Will this be enough?

No news!

Out of curiosity is anyone still waiting for results after sitting Stage One around the 27th of November? Slightly concerned that they seemed to be telling unsuccessful applicants last and the usual turn around time for successful guys/girls was about a week!

I appreciate they said up to 15 working days but the results seemed to be being released a little quicker than that in the previous weeks!

Here's hoping...

@Escapist

At a guess, I'd say it's because they were trying to fill up the November course, and therefore were rushing through the applications as quickly as possible. The next course starts in February, so there's a little breathing space for the HR department. So I'd not start worrying just yet. I applied back in July, and took stage 1 in the beginning of September. It took 10 or 11 working days to hear my results.

Thank you Highmore! You put hope in us :P And when you think of it, you have a point, they are most likely taking it slow since the course starts in February, and the one before, they had to rush to fill up the course

Quick question guys, would really appreciate any help.

I was due to attend stage 1 at Whiteley yesterday however it my sister who had been ill for some time passed away in the early hours of Thursday morning and understandably I'm sure you can appreciate I did not feel I could attend today.

I emailed NATS on the HR Recruitment email address yesterday afternoon giving roughly 24hours notice before the test and hoped that was enough and they'd understand the circumstances when they get round to reading my email.

However I am a third time re-applicant and I don't want this to count as no-show as that's it for me if so.

Does anyone have an alternative email address which gets a quicker response or even a telephone number?

Much appreciated everyone, thank you.
