I don’t know how the new pay deal affects TATC’s, however you may be able to add 3.2% onto the annual figure.

Part of the pay deal is renegotiating TATC pay and conditions, so hopefully we'll see that figure rise soon.

Hi all,

Literally just started the NATS recruitment process.

Is anyone aware of any good materials to use to prepare for the Verbal reasoning, Numerical reasoning, Diagramatical reasoning and Spatial awareness tests?

Any help will be really appreciated.

Thanks!

STAGE 0 and 1

Hi everyone,
For those who have already passed online aptitude tests (stage 0 and 1), would be appreciated if could give some advise on any source of material to practice and any tips while taking the tests?
Many thanks!

Unfortunately I failed my stage 2 FEAST today. I guess I'm just not made of The Right Stuff. Only 1 out of 7 of us got through to the DART.

I just thought I would give a bit of advice for people who are driving because I worried about this a little bit. There are visitor spaces in the NATS car park, probably about 16 overall and these remained half full up until 8am, but it may be that it wasn't a particularly busy day. You can also park on the road immediately outside the NATS compound (which I did). As a last resort you could park in the shopping centre car park, but I think there's a £2 charge for 6 hours and there's a bit of a walk (10-15mins) to NATS from there.

Also the day is rather straight forward, so don't worry too much about that aspect of things, everything is explained before you have to do anything.

Good luck to all.

25th June - Jerez - Start Date

Hi all,

Has anyone else been allocated a start date in Jerez, Spain for this year? I got the email through today. Does anyone know if there are any courses due to start in UK in the near future?

Hi mashman,

I have also been given this course.
I was told they have courses in Whiteley/Coventry in the coming months so it’s completely voluntary to do a course in Jerez.

Personally, Jerez suits me better due to accommodation and food being provided - less expenses during the initial training!

Maybe see you in June!

Hi Stu,

Thanks for the reply, good news to finally get that start date email.

I like the idea of the accommodation all being provided etc because cost of living was obviously a concern. I’m sure I’ll see you in June mate.

Yes - you are correct, my mistake. Not sure where I got Coventry from! Haha

As far as I’m aware it’s just the Basic at Jerez, after that - role specific training takes place in the UK.

I think it is just the basic in Jerez as it’s only 21 weeks, not the full 9-12 month process for the role specific training.

Under the impression that that will take place at Whiteley.

Congrats- it is nice having a firm date now isn't it!

Am I wrong in thinking we will have a Facebook page set up to chat before starting...?

CTC 23rd May

Hi there,
I’ve been allocated a place on the course starting at CTC on 23rd May this year,
I was told I’d revive an information pack and my contract about a month ago. However as yet I’ve not received anything of the kind, I have send a couple of emails and a voicemail with still no reply. Have any of you been able to get in contact with the recruitment department?? as I’m unsure of what to do now.

Many thanks
