Talking The Lord's say NO!!!!!

Hurrah....see
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/uk_...000/991861.stm

The Lord's have just voted to put off PPP until after the next general election.

Also, they narrowly voted to protect our pensions IF the PPP thang ever happens!

Long Live that Merry bunch of British Aristocracy(ish)!!

No doubt Crony and 2 Jags won't stop JUST yet, but lets revel in a bit of good news for a change!

I say keep the Lords - These old blokes

Agree to all the above but let's not forget that the war is not over. The threat still remains in the future. It's up to us all to ensure that as the election approaches that we let our prospective new MPs know our feelings.
Also let's give a big thanks to IPMS for keeping the pressure on.

There's a thread on this on the pilots page. Go there and boost the numbers .It may lead to a bit more interest amongst the flyers.

Why "The Lord's say no" rather than "The Lords say no"?

Ubiquitous ignorance.

Apology accepted. It was good news from the Upper House, though.
