So anyone recommend the best "fly away" holiday in Australia??
Any good country towns to fly to? B&B's that have their own airstrip?

How far do you want to go? What time of year
Birdsville and on to William Creek, Oodnadatta and down to Arkaroola Broken Hill is a memorable journey. You could easily extend it to Coober Pedy or Ayers ROck too, time dependant.
You could aways do Cape York (Cairns, Cooktown, Lockhart, Horn, Weipa, Karumba, Normanton etc...) but that's a fair hike.
