Hi,

My apologies if I have posted this in the wrong forum!

Does anyone know of anywhere in Florida (Tampa Area) that does Vintage aircraft (Stearman, Tigermoth) or Warbird Pleasure Flights?

I am trying to organise a 40th Birthday present for my brother who will be in Florida during the month of September.

Any idea's will be greatly appreciated :ok:

You might check with Fantasy of Flight Musuem in Polk City, FL. That is Kermit Weeks' new place after hurricane Andrew blew away his facility ( and half his airplanes ) in the early 90s. They may not do rides per say,but they should know who does. If you are in the Tampa or Orlando area it is a great place to go for the day. I especially like the engine room, he has one of about every engine ever made for airplanes, including 70 ( count them, 7 0 ) brand new - still in the crate Allison 1710 engines. The flight simulators are fun as well.

Well,
I think that North American Top Gun is in FL. somewhere

I flew with these guys earlier this year (at a remote location, Ohio) in their T-6 texans and we did aerobatics and I even got to
fly a couple of stunts.

Maybe, this isn't the kind of plane your looking for but they might know other places to try calling.

Is ¨Crazy Horse¨ still in Kissimmee? I´m also fairly sure I saw a flyer offering an AT6 check out in Central Florida somewhere.

Hi,

I found a Stearman out of Winterhaven (KGIF). I would like to say thanks to Eric and Margaret Shipley from Wings and Wheels (http://www.wingsandwheelsfl.com/)
