About 6 months ago, I went to a orthopedist doctor, who told me the pain I had in my heel since last summer was that I was 'walking on the nerve'.
He then took a lvery arge injection needle and injected some liquid in the side of my foot to mechanically separate some flesh from the bone (if I understood correctly).
The pain was gone immediately.
Now, six months later, it is slowly but surely returning. Before going for another (painful) shot, I remember my GP recommended a neurologist to have a look.
So, a orthopedist is working on bones , a neurologist is working on nerves, any suggestions or experiences?
I trust both specialists, it is just that they may have a different approach to solve the problem.
