Hi everyone

I know there's heaps of stuff already on the QF cadet pilot program, but I just wondered if anyone had any views/info on the following:

1. What are Qantas' or any other airline's views on taking ex-military pilots. What proportion of QF pilots are ex military.
2. I know there isn't any age limit for the cadet pilot program but is it a factor when it comes to the selection process?

That is an interesting question 7fortyfive,
It doesn't actually ask you for your age on the application, but it does ask for proof of you being over 17 by the first of March 2004.
This could be a clever way of QF having the ability to choose cadets on age criteria without being (obviously) discriminating. How else can you prove you are over the specified age without giving your date of birth?
I guess only the admin guys would really know the answer to your question
Does anyone know of any mature cadets going through the program?

Cheers,
SSC
