Heard an EZY on the way to LPL ask for diversion to MAN as the runway at LPL was wet. Just wondering if anyone knew why. Was it thrust reverser problem, or maybe antiskid inop?

Yeah It's parked on the central pier opposite T2 at the moment.

why would you divert with a thrust reverser inop. it makes a whole 170ft difference for one, or 640ft for both. would not prevent a landing at liverpool.

It was EZY7CM from Paris, the aircraft had a problem with anti-skid and diverted into Manchester due to the wet runway at Liverpool. The aircraft involved was G-IGOT.

There was an EZY in Man after taking a swan into one of the engines last week. Apparently the pod only just contained it, there were blade sticking through when it got to the hangar.
