Did anybody see the programme on Channel 5 last evening about the air-war in WW1? It was amazing to see it in colour but can anybody enlighten me how it was done. I can't believe in this day and age that anybody could afford to have the individual frames coloured in. I suppose therefore that it was computer re-generated but how does that work?

I read a review some where, that while computers were used in the colourisation process, each frame was coloured manually. In order to complete it the process was completed using technicians based in India, which kept the labour costs under control and the project economically viable.

Thanks for that. It is really worth seeing if you get the chance. The colours seemed just right so I guess there is a great resource in India for more of the same.
