Word has it that the AUH Crown Prince (I am not sure what his official title is) has just issued a decree that a new airline be formed (and owned) by the AUH govt. called Al-Itihad Aviation and that the CEO will be Ahmed bin Seif (the old GF CEO). The government will pump 500 million dirhams into this company.
Does anyone else have any additional info? This is not good news for GF.
