Toronto Star article (http://thestar.ca/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1058825413422&call_pageid=968350130169&col=969483202845) today.

Pictures in the paper (not available online) show:[list=1]
Minimal if any fuselage and wing damage which rules out out a high speed impact from
loss of control
Both sets of prop tips are bent back which indicates low power either
because of simultaneous carb ice or low power setting at approach speed.
Intact windshield and windows
Open door right side front row. When and how the door was opened is not disclosed, but there's no obvious distortion or signs of prying that can be seen in the photo.
Radome missing

While it looks to me like a survivable ditching with an available exit, the survival time in cold water would only be in the order of 15-45 minutes without an immersion suit and/or life raft.

Incapacitation is a possibility.
