Does anyone know if there is a specific contact point to discuss the use of military airfields for civilian passenger charter operations?, or do you contact the Station direct?.

If you contact the Station direct, whom do you approach?
Thanks in advance

Unless it’s a station that is use to doing this kind of thing don’t expect a quick and simple answer. There is a section at Strike that deals with civil use of MOD airfields and they would be the people to talk to about insurance and account facilities. The CO of the station you wish to operate is your best first contact. There will be a delay in getting a decision as the finer points of the JSP 360 are pondered over by various Ops Support types. I hope you receive a speedy and professional response.

I think you would be far better off, in the first instance, making contact with OC Ops (the boss of flying operations). Just call the number in the phone book and ask to be put through.
