Hi
My wife and I are going to Ireland for a break soon and my wife keeps on about the location of the Memorial to the Air India crash. I would be very relieved if anybody could help me out and tell me where it is please.
All the Best

Spit,
The memorial to the loss of the Air India B747 is situated on the edge of Dunmanus Bay, West Cork. I believe the nearest village/town is Ahakista. No doubt one of our Irish colleaques will be able to confirm the exact location for you. Good luck with your holiday.

SPIT.
I was in County Cork a few weeks ago and came across the memorial which is on the Sheepshead Peninsular just south of Bantry.
Just drive along the southern side and it is a few miles to the west of Ahakista . A very beautiful part of the world and I am sure you will find , a moving and memorable experience.
The wording on the stonework really made an impression on me and my wife, as I am sure it wil with you.
