A backup pilot is required to fly an Islander in East Africa for an 8 month contract. The applicant should be 45yo +. The aircraft is on 24hour standby for medivacs and therefore needs a backup pilot. The age restriction is imposed as this job would ideally suit a pilot who has hours up and is seeking to persue other interests at the lodge, in particular fishing or captaining of boat vessels in the area. All meals and accomodation is provided and alcohol is available at cost price. An Islander endorsement is desirable but can be organised along with a South African validation.
