Hi!
I've booked my brush up course for Mod 1 in August at Bristol GS...is anyone else going and if so where are you staying?

Yep, I'll be there in August for mod 2.
I'm staying at Jane Bainton's place in Backwell, which is literally 5 mins drive to BGS. I stayed there in November for mod 1 and found it very hospitable. There are better places for home cooking and pool tables etc. but on mod 1 there wouldn't have been much time for that anyway, not with all those mock papers to do in the evening!

I can recommend Lower Stock Farm in Wrington which has a granny annex with three bedrooms, a kitchen, lounge with TV and bathroom. They rarely let out the rooms up there to anyone other than pilots so chances are you'll be sharing with another student which can be useful for travel cost sharing and study.
