Brain Tumour

Specifically an Astrocytoma (grade III) on the brain stem.

Does any have any experience (friends, family etc) of dealing with the above?

What exactly do you want to know and in what context? This may be the kind of thing you are best off going to make an appointment and chatting to your GP about.

I've recently had a relative (18 yrs old) diagnosed with the above. I'm not really looking for medical info, just anecdotal information from people who've been in a similar situation.

Strafer, if you do not feel that a talk with your GP will be useful, why not try contacting your local Marie Curie Centre - if you have one, or look for a support group who may be able to help.
