Folks
Need your advice - fATPL and have not flown for about 9 months due to no time etc..
Getting round to having to renew my licences etc.
Should I:
1. Renew IR through FNPT2 - possibly in 10 hours at approx 100 squid an hour = 1300
2. Renew IR whilst at same time renewing MECR (all in aircraft - couple of hours in FNPT2) at approx 250 squid an hour = 2500
3. Renew IR through option 1 and then do some single engine flying to get me back into the groove again? =approx 2000
What do you think - what is more useful?
I need to renew my IR but is MECR only useful if you actually want to fly some ME aircraft? Realistically am I only going to be needing it when I actually get a job?
Really not sure what to do and would like all applicable advice. (to note - job applications continuosly being sent off)
Cheers
